The main couple will almost always bring you all the feels and emotions that come with watching K-dramas. But every now and then, we are pleasantly surprised to see the second couple exuding great chemistry. They are almost as good as the main couple by the end of the series! Kim Ji Won plays Yoon Myung Joo, and Jin Goo plays Suh Dae Young in this classic K-drama. They are both military personnel, with Myung Joo specialising in surgery. From the start of the series, the two are already in love but are separated, dealing with the pressures of their different social backgrounds.
The love and interaction between these two is both heartbreaking and endearing at times. The constant conflict between heart and logic drew viewers in. You couldn’t help but hope that the two would end up together!
Lee Ji Yi and Yoo Chang Soo in “High Society”
The second couple in “High Society” definitely outshone the main couple in many ways, including chemistry. Lim Ji Yeon’s character, Lee Ji Yi, is a poor girl who is realistic about her life and relationships. You know more must watch the series.
Cha Hyun and Seol Ji Hwan in “Search: WWW”
Jang Ki Yong and Im Soo Jung star in “Search: WWW,” a noona romance set against the fast-paced and intense backdrop of a web portal company. The female leads in the series are fiercely competitive, but Bae Ta Mi (Im Soo Jung) is able to befriend Cha Hyun (Lee Da Hee).
“Crash Landing On You”
No one will ever forget the love and chemistry shared by Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin in “Crash Landing On You,” but the second couple, played by Seo Ji Hye and Kim Jung Hyun, is equally memorable.
