Billionaire's Daughter Vasundhara Oswal Arrested in Uganda: Kidnapping and Murder Charges Cause Controversy Over Mukesh Menaria's Death!
In a sudden turn of events, 26-year-old heiress to the Oswal Group, daughter of billionaire Pankaj Oswal, has been in police custody in Uganda since October 1, 2024. Accused of kidnapping and murdering Mukesh Menaria, a former employee who once served the Oswal family, Vasundhara Oswal's sister, Riddhi Oswal, said her sister was illegally seized by "armed corrupt officials" while on a visit to a factory site in Uganda.
These claims were of illegal detention and framed accusations.
Vasundhara's family has given point-blank denials to the allegations, and said that Vasundhara is alive and the family has apparently shifted to Tanzania. "The ordeal began when corrupt officials took Vasundhara away on false pretences after an unwarranted raid turned up no evidence of wrongdoing," Riddhi Oswal said in an e-mail. "Her most basic human rights were violated by Ugandan authorities refusing her legal representation, detaining her without any charge against her.
