What Did Govinda's Daughter Say About Periods That Sparked Controversy and Trolls?

Govinda's daughter, Tina Ahuja, has become a centre of controversy when she made certain comments about the period pain during a podcast with her mother, Sunita Ahuja. Tina revealed that she had never ever faced period pain and suggested that it's all psychological matter and talking about it with others increases its pain.

Sensitive Comments

Tina said that only Delhi and Mumbai girls talk about their period pain and half of the problem is created while discussing it in groups. She added that her "desi" lifestyle, from eating ghee to never dieting, could be the reason she does not feel pain.

Backlash on Social Media

Her statements received a lot of backlash with many terming her remarks insensitive. They pointed out that period pain varies for everyone and conditions like PCOD and endometriosis are serious issues unrelated to lifestyle or psychology.

Sunita's Input

Sunita Ahuja also advised taking a spoonful of ghee during periods but jokingly distanced herself from being blamed for anyone's health issues.
