The decision comes after she shared a recent post showcasing her ethnic blue and golden saree look on August 19, which led to negative comments about her appearance.

On August 19, Ayesha Takia posted a picture of herself in a stunning saree, which quickly caught the attention of her followers. However, a segment of social media users criticized her appearance, alleging that she had undergone plastic surgery. The backlash over her looks became intense, prompting Ayesha to deactivate her Instagram account. As of now, her account displays a message stating that it "isn't available."

Previous Encounter with Trolls

Earlier this year, Ayesha had also been the target of online criticism. In February, she was spotted at Mumbai airport with her son, Mikail, and faced scrutiny over her looks. At that time, she had firmly responded to the trolls on Instagram, expressing frustration over the focus on her appearance rather than more significant issues. She had stated, “Need to say this, rushed to Goa two days ago… Had a medical emergency in my family... My sister has literally been in hospital. Amidst all this, I remember being stopped by paps and posing for them for basically a few seconds before flying off. Turns out there are no other important issues in the country except dissecting my looks.”

Ayesha’s Personal Life

Ayesha Takia is married to Farhan Azmi, a restaurateur and the son of politician Abu Azmi. The couple has a son named Mikail. Despite her departure from the film industry, Ayesha has made it clear that she has no interest in making a comeback. She had previously stated, “I have zero interest in doing any films or any comeback like people are saying. I'm living my life happily, never want to be in the limelight, not interested in any fame.”
