Jheel was only 10 years old when she auditioned for the role of Sonu. Her mother’s friend informed her about the opportunity, and having prior experience in shooting, Jheel decided to give it a shot. During her audition, the show’s producer, Asit Modi, handed her some lines, which she delivered with such charm that she was instantly selected.

Jheel spent four wonderful years on the show, creating memories she cherishes to this day. “The show gave me so many unforgettable moments, and I still miss being on set,” she revealed. However, her journey on the show came to an unexpected end in 2012.

Why Did Jheel Leave the Show?

Jheel revealed that her decision to quit the show was driven by academics. At the time, she was preparing for her board exams and wanted to focus entirely on her studies. Prioritizing her education, she made the tough choice to leave the role of Sonu behind.

But life took another turn shortly after. Jheel’s father suffered a heart attack, and this event prompted her to take on new responsibilities. She decided to step away from acting entirely to support her family and help in her father’s business.

“I realized that life had other plans for me. From dreaming of studio lights, I began dreaming of becoming a successful businesswoman. Just like acting, I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to this new journey,” Jheel shared.

While Jheel has no current plans to return to acting, she fondly remembers her time on the show and the love she received from fans. She expressed gratitude to those who supported her during her acting days and beyond.
