Why Does the Singer Who Sang for 1000 Films Hate Salman Khan? Shocking Revelation Unveiled

Veteran Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who has lent his iconic voice to over 1000 films, recently opened up about his strained relationship with Salman Khan. In an interview, Abhijeet revealed his dissatisfaction with Salman for giving preference to singers from neighboring countries over Indian artists. He expressed his unwillingness to even discuss Salman, stating, "He is not worth talking about."

The Root of the Conflict

Abhijeet has sung for Salman Khan in films like Judwaa but shared that he wasn't aware Salman was the leading man when he recorded the hit song "Tan Tana Tan." According to Abhijeet, he agreed to the song because of his trust in music director Anu Malik and filmmaker David Dhawan, assuming it was a Govinda film.

Abhijeet on Salman and Shah Rukh Khan

While Salman Khan remains a subject Abhijeet refuses to discuss, he expressed respect for Shah Rukh Khan, describing him as belonging to a different "class." However, even his professional relationship with Shah Rukh has seen ups and downs due to misunderstandings. Abhijeet clarified that his issues with Shah Rukh were purely professional, unlike his outright dismissal of Salman Khan.

Salman's Preference for Foreign Singers

The key issue Abhijeet raises is Salman Khan's tendency to favor artists from neighboring countries, overlooking talent in India. This tendency, Abhijeet feels, undermines local talent and the industry. This stands as part of the greater debate within Bollywood in the context of promoting more local talent over international collaboration.
