The 38-year-old has sought protection orders and “other reliefs against the atrocities committed” by her parent in-laws and sister in-law namely Sarabjit Singh, Bhupinder Kaur and Sneha Singh.

In the plea, Talwar has claimed she was subjected to ‘physical, emotional, mental and verbal abuse’ by her husband and his family. Childhood sweethearts Honey and Shalini had tied the knot on January 23, 2011.

Talwar claims that after Honey Singh’s career took off, he became rude and abusive towards her. When the photographs from their wedding went viral, Honey allegedly beat Shalini mercilessly blaming her for leaking them. Talwar added that Honey always wanted to conceal his marital status or any existence of her from the public eye.
