Zeenat Aman was born on 19th November 1951 in Germany. Zeenat’s father, Amanullah Khan was a scriptwriter in Bollywood. His notable works are films like Pakeezah and Mughal-e-Azam. The actresses’ life took a tragic turn when her father died in the year 1964. Zeenat was just 13 years old at the time of this horrific incident. Her mother Scinda, later re-married to a German named Heinz and moved to Germany along with Zeenat. Since Zeenat didn’t find happiness on a foreign land, she returned to India as she turned 18th.
Zeenat Aman was the second runner up at the Miss India beauty pageant and became the first South Asian model to win Miss Asia Pacific in the year 1970.
