Meerut Children Murder Case: 3 Children Die in 7 Days, Grandmother Alleges Mother Poisoned Them

Meerut Children Murder Case: A heart-rending case has been reported from Meerut as a woman, Hina, has been charged with poisoning three children of her 4 to 6 years who died in a week's time. The grandmom Mehrunissa accused the trio that Hina conspired along with her brother Firoz and also her lover Sharafat has poisoned her children. All three have been sent for to the police station where FIR had been lodged against the two.
Case Details
Hina, whose husband Irshad Asad was killed in 2022, had shifted to her parental home along with her five kids. On December 5, her 4-year-old son Samad died, which is followed by the death of 5-year-old Subhan on December 7 and her 6-year-old boy Abdul on December 10 with similar circumstances. Mehrunissa approached the police where she suspected foul play while taking custody of the rest of the two children as well.
Varying Allegations
While the grandmother suspects poisoning, Firoz claims the deaths were caused by accidental ingestion of toxic berries from the forest. Postmortem reports have so far been inconclusive, and no arrests have been made due to a lack of concrete evidence. The case is under investigation, with the safety of the surviving children being a primary concern.
