Following Saturday night’s outbreak of new violence in the state, five persons were hurt in a bomb explosion in the Bihar town of Sasaram, according to the police. A forensic team was dispatched right away, according to officials, and the injured victims have been brought to a hospital.
Senaram DM As Dharmendra Kumar put it: “In Sasaram, a bomb went off. Those who had been hurt were sent to the BHU hospital. For now, we’re looking at every possibility.”
He stated, “The explosion’s origin is still unknown.
The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation after the Bihar Police received information about the bomb detonation that occurred in Sasaram, Rohtas.
“A scooter has been found in the location where the explosion was supposed to have occurred. That doesn’t seem to be a communal occurrence at first glance, “police reported.
On Saturday, the police team, Special Task Force (STF), and Para Military soldiers marched through Sasaram.
As two groups clashed in two different parts of the state on Saturday, three people were shot and injured, according to locals, and communal tensions in Bihar once more increased.
According to the people of the respective localities, the skirmishes took place in the Paharpur neighbourhood in Bihar Sharif and the Khasganj neighbourhood in the Sohsarai police station area.
Two people were injured by bullets during the confrontations in the Paharpur area and were treated there, according to Dr. Mahendra Kumar of the Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital, who spoke to ANI.
Conflicts were recorded earlier on March 31 at Rohtas’ Sasaram and Nalanda’s Biharsharif, where Union Home Minister Amit Shah was supposed to be.
Due to the installation of Section 144 as a result of conflicts in the area, Amit Shah’s visit to Sasaram in the Bihar region of Rohtas has been postponed.
The Bihar police report that a total of 45 persons have been detained thus far in relation to the fights between factions that occurred during Ram Navami celebrations in some areas of the state. This number includes 18 in relation to the conflict that took place in Sasaram.
Public officials urged people not to believe rumours. They said, “Section 144 has been implemented here and the atmosphere is peaceful.”
