AAP Rejects Congress Alliance, To Contest Delhi Elections 2025 Alone
Delhi Elections 2025: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal has rejected any possibility of an alliance with Congress for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Kejriwal confirmed via social media that AAP will contest the elections independently.
Kejriwal Dismisses Alliance Speculations
Amid ongoing speculations about a possible alliance between AAP and Congress, Kejriwal put all rumors to rest with a firm statement. He posted, "AAP will contest the Delhi elections on its own. There is no possibility of an alliance with Congress."
This announcement came shortly after reports surfaced that negotiations between the two parties had reached a final stage, with Congress likely to contest 15 seats. Within an hour, Kejriwal dismissed these reports through his post.
AAP Announces Second Candidate List
AAP has already released its second list of candidates for the elections, featuring 20 names. Notably, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will contest from Jangpura instead of his earlier constituency, Patparganj. The party has fielded Awadh Ojha from Patparganj.
