AIIU Grappling Championship: Sunil Chaturvedi Honored for Fair Judgment

AIIU Grappling Championship: The All India Inter-University (AIIU) Grappling Championship was held at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule University, Rohilkhand, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, from February 17 to 22. This men's and women's inter-university grappling and grappling gi competition witnessed top talent from across the country.

Sunil Chaturvedi Honored for Transparent Judgments

Kanpur’s Sunil Chaturvedi and Durgeshwar were recognized as chief referees for their impartial and transparent decision-making. Their dedication to ensuring fairness in the championship led to their felicitation by the university administration.

Speaking about the honor, Sunil Chaturvedi stated that he has always been committed to delivering fair and transparent decisions in every competition. Acknowledging his contributions, the Grappling Federation of India (GFI) General Secretary, Subodh Kumar Yadav, presented him with a special letter of appreciation.

The recognition of Sunil Chaturvedi was also celebrated by Dr. Alok Srivastava, President of Grappling Kanpur; Pawan Singh Chauhan, President of UP Grappling Association; and Secretary Ravikant Mishra, who extended their congratulations and best wishes.
