The National Contemplation Meeting of the All India Vaishya Mahasammelan (AIVF) was organized on 23 October in Delhi under the chairmanship of National President Dr Girish Sanghi. The meeting was held at the Constitution Club, Rafi Marg, New Delhi. Sri Sangamlal Gupta, MP and Sri Adesh Gupta, President, BJP, Delhi Pradesh were present in the Vaishya Mahasammelan.

In this meeting, all state presidents and working committee members were present in which political empowerment of Vaishya society, as well as expansion of the organization in all the states, were discussed.

Census should be done on the basis of Varna

In this meeting of Vaishya Samaj, after discussing the social proposal, a demand was made from the government by passing a political resolution along with compiling the history of the constituents and great men of Vaish society. Also, the basis of the census should be done on the basis of 4 varnas (Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra).

President Dr. Girish Sanghi said in the address, “In the present context, economic and commercial cooperation of Vaish society is necessary. We want to be an integral part of the political participation of the country, from which we have been kept away. The main reason for this is that various castes of Vaish society have been kept away. The social upliftment of Vaish society and the progress of Vaish society should be emphasized. Census on the basis of castes instead of castes is in the interest of the country.

President Shri Girish Sanghi discussed the contribution of Vaishya Samaj while giving detailed information. He said, “Great personalities like Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Bhama Sah, Ram Manohar Lohia and Lala Lajpat Rai are the gift of Vaish society. People of this society have been an embodiment of sacrifice with service-dedication-sanskar-cooperation. The country’s economy and industry Vaish Samaj has an unforgettable contribution in making the world move smoothly. From national movement to reconstruction, the contribution of Vaishya society has been there. An initiative should be taken towards making the politics of the nation clean by binding to the formula of the nation.”
