Anondita Healthcare Files Case Against Swear Healthcare Over 'Copying Of Designs'

Swear Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., a surgical glove manufacturer based in Dholpur, Rajasthan, is facing severe legal issues, including accusations of intellectual property theft and forgery, according to a lawsuit. The company, led by directors Sanjeev and Aradhana Gaur, allegedly copied surgical glove manufacturing machine designs from Noida-based Anondita Healthcare. In response, Anondita Healthcare filed a lawsuit in the Commercial Court of Noida, resulting in a ruling against Swear Healthcare, which was prohibited from further production.
Courts in Noida and Dholpur ordered the sealing of Swear Healthcare's machines, halting its operations. In an attempt to appeal, the company allegedly forged the signature of Anondita Healthcare's director, leading to a First Information Report (FIR) being lodged against Swear Healthcare. The investigation revealed the involvement of Sanjeev Gaur and others in the forgery, resulting in Gaur’s arrest by the Uttar Pradesh Police under Sections 467, 468, and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Although Gaur was granted temporary bail due to medical reasons, further legal action is expected once he recovers.
This case highlights the serious consequences of unethical business practices, especially in the healthcare sector. Swear Healthcare’s future remains uncertain as its reputation continues to suffer from the fallout of these legal battles.
