Wing Commander Dwivedi Pitches 'Atma Raksha Vigyan' to Rajnath Singh – A New Era of Patriotic Education Begins
Wing Commander Pushkal Vijay Dwivedi meets Rajnath Singh to promote Atma Raksha Vigyan, aiming to empower youth with self-defense and patriotic education.

In a significant step towards national security and youth empowerment in India, Wing Commander Pushkal Vijay Dwivedi (Retd), Director General of the Bharatiya Shiksha Anusandhan Parishad (BSAP) and Chief of Kalki Sena, met with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi. The meeting, which lasted for around 30 minutes, focused on enhancing civil and military collaboration for a secure future.
Kalki Sena Offers Unconditional Support to Indian Armed Forces
During this key discussion, Wing Commander Dwivedi presented a formal assurance letter to the minister. In it, he confirmed the Kalki Sena's voluntary and unconditional support to the Indian Armed Forces, paramilitary, and police forces. He pledged that whenever the Government of India calls upon them, Kalki Sena’s warriors will be “ready to serve without delay or conditions.”
One of the major highlights of the meeting was the presentation of ‘Atma Raksha Vigyan’, a groundbreaking subject introduced under the Bharatiya Shiksha Board (BSB). Created by Wing Commander Dwivedi himself, this curriculum focuses on teaching self-defense science to school students from Class 1 to 12.
This course includes practical topics such as good touch-bad touch, mental awareness, strategic thinking, emergency response, national defense awareness, and legal literacy. It aims to instill patriotism, physical strength, and moral values from an early age, turning students into responsible and empowered citizens.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised this new educational move, calling it “a long-awaited and essential addition to India’s national curriculum.” He emphasized that this subject will not only prepare the youth to defend themselves but also make them strong, patriotic, and responsible citizens.
Discussion on Retired Defence Personnel's Role in National Strategy
The meeting also addressed the importance of veteran engagement in shaping India's changing defense strategy. Wing Commander Dwivedi stressed the need to involve retired defense personnel in national preparedness by tapping into their vast experience, especially in training, policy execution, and youth guidance.
The dialogue explored how resilience-building and citizen coordination during emergencies can be enhanced by effectively using the reserve force and ex-servicemen networks.
Pushkal Vijay Dwivedi is not just a retired officer but a scholar, strategist, and social reformer. After starting his career in journalism, he served in the Indian Air Force, working in areas like intelligence, special operations, communications, and human behavior analysis. After retirement, he focused on nation-building, youth development, and education reform.
His notable contributions include the launch of Kalki Sena, the Vijay Code, Prism Psychology, and now the Self-Defense Science Curriculum, which have collectively ignited a wave of patriotism and purpose across India.
This meeting marks a historic step in blending formal education with patriotic civic engagement. It sets a precedent for how retired defense officers can contribute to shaping a safety-conscious, self-reliant India. Also present were senior leaders from BSAP, BSB, and Kalki Sena, including Gaurav Pandey, Rajneesh Sinha, Manikant, Anand Pratap Singh, and Ved Prakash Dwivedi.
