Atul Subhash suicide case: The tragic suicide of AI software engineer Atul Subhash has left many shocked. The Bengaluru police are investigating the case and have reached his in-laws' residence in Jaunpur to detain his wife, Nikita Singhania, and her family. Before taking his life, Atul carefully noted down 33 tasks in a note, marking 32 as "Done."

Tasks Completed Before the Act

Placing his 24-page suicide note on the table for easy discovery.

Keeping the keys to his room, bike, and car on top of the fridge.

Chanting Lord Shiva's name 108 times.

Opening all windows and locking the door.

Taking a bath before the act.

The final task, committing suicide, remained incomplete as he couldn't mark it "Done."

A Final Wish

Atul, in his video and note, expressed his anguish and pleaded for justice. He told his family that if he is not given justice, then he wants his ashes to be strewn in a gutter.

Police have filed a case against his wife Nikita, her mother Nisha, her brother Anurag, and uncle Sushil Singhania. The case throws open a very disturbing saga of mental agony and unaddressed grievances that brings the issues of mental health and justice into debates.
