New developments have emerged in the suicide case of AI engineer Atul Subhash, as he wife Nikita Singhania has come out with a shocking revelation during police questioning. Nikita is staying in 14-day judicial custody along with her mother-in-law, Nisha Singhania, and her brother, Anurag Singhania.

Key Revelations Made by Nikita

Nikita Denies Exploitation Allegations: Nikita stated that it was Atul who harassed her, and not the other way round. She said that she has been staying separately as a paying guest in Gurugram for the past 3 years, which police can cross verify.

Atul's Suicide and Accusations: On December 9, Atul was found dead in his Bengaluru home, where a 24-page suicide note and a 90-minute video accused Nikita and her family of mental harassment and threats of false cases.

Dowry Case Nikita had filed a case of dowry harassment under IPC Sections 498A, 323, 504, and 506 on April 24, 2022, which stated that Atul, along with his family members, was demanding ₹10 lakh as dowry, physically assaulting her, and instructing her to get salary transfers in her account.

Atul Subhash, 34, was found hanging at his Munnekolalu residence in Bengaluru. After the incident, the police arrested Nikita from her Gurugram residence and Nisha and Anurag from a hotel in Prayagraj. Nikita justified her actions by saying she used to live separately due to her husband's behavior and disputes between them and their families.
