Bageshwar Dham Controversy: Shaligram Garg Clarifies Viral Video on Relationship with Brother

Bageshwar Dham Controversy: Shaligram Garg is the younger brother of Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, also known as Bageshwar Baba. A video recently surfaced in which he claimed to have cut ties with his elder brother. In the video, Garg mentioned that he had submitted a written notice to the district court regarding the matter. However, in a subsequent video uploaded on social media, Shaligram Garg has clarified that his original message was misinterpreted and misrepresented.

In the new video, Shaligram, sitting in a car, vehemently denied the claims of ending his relationship with Bageshwar Baba. He clarified that the video which is doing rounds has been misconstrued, and asserted that he never meant to point fingers at his brother or the Bageshwar Dham institution at all. Garg further clarified that his original video was aimed at apologizing to saints and followers of the Sanatan Dharma for any misunderstanding that his earlier message had caused. He clarified that the controversial video in question was aimed at avoiding distance from the faith and personage of Bageshwar Baba, without causing harm to the belief of Sanatan Hindus.

Shaligram Garg also appealed to the audience not to believe the version of the news channels and social media platforms. He again asserted that the intention of the video was just to request forgiveness and to clarify that he had no intention to hurt his brother's feelings. Garg added that his relationship with his brother is intact, after the viral video that sparked public speculations.

Shaligram Garg is no stranger to controversies. Some of his previous incidents include altercations with toll workers, brandishing firearms, and even involvement in a physical altercation at a friend's home. He has been embroiled in multiple legal issues, often making headlines for reasons other than religious matters.
