An air hostess who lived with him and died after falling from their apartment’s fourth-floor balcony has led to the arrest of a software expert in Bengaluru on murder charges.
28-year-old Archana Dhiman arrived in the city from Dubai only four days before she passed away on Friday. In the opulent neighbourhood of Koramangala, she resided with her partner Adesh at Renuka Residency.
Archana and techie Adesh, who she had been dating for the previous six months, were discovered by the police to have met on a dating app.
Archana encountered Adesh frequently when she worked out of Dubai, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police C.K. Baba, even on the day of her passing.
According to Baba, the male is from Kerala and the woman is from Himachal Pradesh.
He added that the family suspected Archana’s boyfriend and that a murder case had been filed on the father’s allegation.
In response to questions, Adesh admitted that the couple clashed frequently. He further said that Archana slipped and fell, was taken to the hospital right afterwards, and was later pronounced dead.
Adesh is being held by the police and will appear in court tomorrow.
