Bengaluru Man Attempts to Kill Wife Over Suspicion, Surrenders at Police Station

In a shocking incident from Bengaluru, a man attempted to kill his wife by strangling her and filling her mouth with glue due to suspicion over her character. Believing her to be dead, he walked into a police station and surrendered. However, the police acted swiftly, reaching the spot in time and saving the woman’s life.
Husband Tries to Kill Wife, Then Confesses to Police
The incident took place in Harokyatanahalli, Nelamangala. The accused, 38-year-old carpenter Siddhaling Swamy, attacked his 33-year-old wife, Manjula, after an argument over suspected infidelity.
He first strangled Manjula while she was asleep.
When she lost consciousness, he filled her mouth with glue, hoping it would block her breathing.
Convinced that she was dead, he surrendered at the Madanayakanahalli Police Station, confessing that he had killed his wife due to an alleged affair.
Timely Police Action Saves Woman’s Life
Upon reaching the scene, police found that Manjula was still breathing.
Officers immediately rushed her to the hospital.
On the way, they washed the glue out of her mouth with warm water to help her breathe.
Doctors have confirmed that Manjula is out of danger and undergoing treatment.
Married for Love, Relationship Turns Toxic
The couple hails from Raichur and had a love marriage. However, they had no children, and Swamy often suspected Manjula of infidelity, leading to frequent fights.
Currently, Swamy is in police custody, and authorities are investigating further.
