BJP Leader Wife Elopes with Younger Constable Flees with 2.5 Crore Jewelry and Cash in Bhadohi

In a shocking incident from Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, the wife of a local BJP leader, who is also a BJP member herself and has previously contested in the chairman elections, eloped with a younger man who is a police constable. The woman, 45, ran away with her lover, who is 15 years younger than her, leaving behind her husband and two children. The constable, aged 30, was a tenant in their home.

The husband has filed a police complaint, claiming that his wife fled with the constable, taking jewelry worth ₹2.5 crores and cash from the house. He also accused the constable of manipulating his wife for money and expressed concern that the constable could potentially harm her.

The Husband’s Allegations

The BJP leader from Gopiganj Nagar revealed in his complaint that about a year ago, the constable, identified as Vinay Tiwari (alias Raj Tiwari) from Gonda, rented a room in their house. Unbeknownst to him, the constable and his wife began an affair. According to the husband, the constable cunningly trapped his wife with false promises of love and blackmailed her with compromising photos. He further claimed that the constable threatened to implicate the family if they exposed the affair.

What the BJP Leader Said

The BJP leader stated, "When I discovered their relationship, I immediately asked him to leave the house. I also tried to reason with my wife, but it didn’t help. After the constable was thrown out, he held a grudge against us and plotted a conspiracy. On August 28, while no one was home, he persuaded my wife to run away with him. She took ₹2 crores worth of jewelry, ₹4 lakhs in cash, and our seven-year-old son."

Despite his efforts to locate them, the husband has been unable to find his wife and the constable. He also alleged that some local individuals might have been involved in the incident. He added that before the constable was evicted, he was caught engaging in inappropriate behavior several times, and the matter had been reported to the local police.

The police have registered the case and begun searching for the woman and the constable. The investigation is ongoing.
