The Chhindwara police have broken up a blind murder case which seemed like an accident. On January 20, the body of a man could be seen near the Kulbehera River in Gangiwarda, alongside a motorcycle. The body was later recognized by the wife, Vinita, as that of 35-year-old Keval Sallam.
It seemed to be a tragic accident, but postmortem results showed that the cause of death was strangulation and severe head injuries. The police registered a case under section 103(1), 238 BNS based on the autopsy report. Police Superintendent Ajay Pandey and his team came up with a different story from the investigation.
The Role of the Wife and Her Lover

On January 18, Manish tricked Keval to the crime scene near the river where Keval was intoxicated, strangled Keval with a scarf, and then stabbed his head with a stone to kill him for sure. Then they tried to show this murder as an accident by throwing the kayak in the water with positioning the motorcycle of the victim nearby.
