Previous Incidents
This is not the first time Bhagalpur has faced such violent incidents. The city has a history of bomb blasts, with several occurrences leading to fatalities. A notable incident occurred on March 4, 2022, in Kazwali Chak, where a bomb exploded during construction, resulting in 15 deaths and the destruction of three houses. The blast that night was so loud that it was heard up to five kilometers away. Additionally, various areas in Nathnagar have previously experienced similar blasts, causing widespread alarm.
Authorities have now formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the latest incident and determine the source and manufacturer of the explosive device. As the community grapples with this latest tragedy, concerns about safety and security continue to mount.
