Bomb Threats: Target Allahabad High Court, Supreme Court, and Prayagraj Railway Station
Ashutosh Pandey, chairman of the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust, received bomb threats targeting the Allahabad High Court, Supreme Court, and Prayagraj Railway Station. The messages mentioned planned attacks on November 19 and were sent from a Pakistani number. Police are investigating, and security at sensitive sites has been heightened.
Bomb Threats: Prayagraj railway station, Allahabad high court, and Supreme court have received bomb threats on late Monday night through WhatsApp to Ashutosh Pandey, the chairman of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust who is also the litigant in the Eidgah case. Six voice messages and a threatening call in between 1:30 and 1:40 AM were received by Pandey which threaten attacks on November 19.
Voice messages, 4 to 14 seconds each, foretold bombings at the High Court, Supreme Court, and major temples all over India. Another message mentioned that the railway station at Prayagraj along with the High Court would be attacked in the morning of November 19.
This is not the first such threat. Six days ago, on 13th November, Pandey received 22 audio messages from a Pakistani number, threatening to blow up High Court. He has filed complaints with Shamli police and senior officials through e-mail. Cases are being registered in Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Fatehpur and Mathura as investigations continue.
High alert for authorities with intensified security on all sensitive locations.
