The situation became tense throughout the day, as clashes between the protesting candidates and the police, including a baton charge, became unavoidable. Khan Sir was also seen present at the protest site at Gardanibagh, coming in support of the protesting students after the police action on students.

According to reports, Khan Sir and Dilip were picked up by the Gardanibagh police in the evening and taken to the police station. This follows a morning of intense protests by candidates who are holding their ground and demanding immediate intervention. In the afternoon, both Khan Sir and another leading coaching operator, Guru Rahman, arrived at the protest site to express their support for the students, vowing to stand by them.

The police, in an effort to gain control of the situation, declared plans to take away the protesting candidates from the area quickly. However, the student movement is expected to continue even after the arrest of these influential figures as the situation is still volatile and students continue demanding a fair examination process.
