Canada Arrests Khalistan Tiger Force Terrorist Arsh Dala, Wanted for Multiple Targeted Killings in India

Canadian authorities have apprehended Arshdeep Singh Gill, alias Arsh Dalla, a high-profile Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) leader, in Ontario following a shooting incident. Indian officials are actively monitoring the situation, coordinating with Canadian counterparts for further details.
Dalla, acting as the KTF's chief and seen as the successor to slain terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, has been linked to multiple violent acts in Punjab, including the murder of Congress leader Baljinder Singh Balli in September. Dalla, on India’s National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) terrorist list, has orchestrated targeted killings and criminal activities in Punjab from his Canadian base for over three years.
Dalla’s arrest follows a recent attack on the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton by Khalistani extremists, which India condemned, demanding strict legal action against those responsible.
Relations between India and Canada have been strained since Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged Indian involvement in Nijjar’s assassination last year—a claim India denied. Dalla’s detention could now play a pivotal role in reshaping Indo-Canadian security and diplomatic ties.
