CGHS Kanpur: A delegation from the Pensioners' Forum, led by General Secretary Anand Awasthi, met the newly appointed Additional Director (AD) of CGHS, Ratanlal Nagar, Kanpur, Dr. Ragini. The delegation, which included Sushil Shukla, R.P. Verma, Subhash Bhatia, and Satish Chandra Singh, honored Dr. Ragini, who expressed her gratitude.

Pensioners' Forum Submits 5-Point Demand Letter

During the meeting, the delegation submitted a five-point demand letter, addressing critical concerns faced by CGHS beneficiaries. The key demands were:

Immediate appointment of an Office Superintendent.
Doctors should be posted at dispensaries near their residences.
Pending complaints against hospitals should be resolved quickly.
ESIC cards should be issued to contract employees, as previous officers failed to do so, causing mental distress.
Immediate payment of pending medical reimbursements.

Dr. Ragini Assures Prompt Action on Issues

Dr. Ragini carefully listened to all concerns and assured the delegation that necessary actions will be taken as per regulations at the earliest.
