Chhatarpur: Gas Cylinder Explosion in Chat Stall at Bijawar; Over 15 Injured, Including Women, Children
In a shocking incident at Bijawar in Chhatarpur, a gas cylinder exploded at a chat stall, leaving over 15 people-including many women and children-wounded. The incidence took place near the bus stand in the crowded area where the weekly market was being held on Thursday. The injured were first treated at Bijawar Hospital before being shifted to the district hospital for further treatment.

Chhatarpur: There was a sudden explosion in a gas cylinder kept at a street food stall at the Bijawar bus stand in Chhatarpur yesterday evening, causing panic. Over 15 people have been injured - men, women, and children - as a result of this explosion in a 5 kg cylinder, many with burns from the explosion.
The accident took place when a weekly market was going on, and the bus stand was crowded. All injured were rushed to Bijawar hospital for treatment immediately after the explosion. Preliminary first aid was given to the casualties, and then they were referred to the district hospital for better care.
On hearing this, a BJP legislator by the name Rajesh Shukla also visited the hospital and met the victims and assessed the situation. The local police along with the emergency teams are investigating how this explosion occurred in the popular food stall near the bus stand.
