Today, the festival of Chhath is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across Delhi."
The CM also emphasized how her government has worked hard to build Chhath Ghats in every corner of the city, making it easier for people from the Purvanchal region to feel connected to their cultural roots, even while away from home. "Our Purvanchali brothers and sisters should never feel far from home. The Delhi government has created spaces for them to celebrate this important festival with joy and respect," she shared.

Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s Chief Minister, expressed pride in the government’s large-scale efforts to make this year’s Chhath Puja more accessible. He noted that the AAP-led government organized Chhath Puja celebrations at over 1,000 locations across Delhi. This impressive number marks a significant increase from the 200-250 locations available before AAP came into power.

"May Chhathi Maiya bless everyone with happiness and well-being. I joined people in my own Vidhan Sabha to worship Chhathi Maiya, and I’m filled with joy seeing the scale of our efforts to accommodate the public," said Kejriwal.
