Chhattisgarh's 19-Year-Old Instagram Influencer Dies by Suicide During Live Stream

A tragic incident from Janjgir-Champa district recently came to the fore, as a 19-year-old social media influencer ended her life during an Instagram live stream. The shocking act unfolded in front of at least 21 of her followers, who watched helplessly. According to a report by The Times of India, the influencer was distressed over a failed romantic relationship, which is believed to have led her to take this extreme step.

Her parents are said to be in deep shock. Some of her followers who were watching the live stream had rushed to her residence in Nawagarh, which is 150 km from Raipur. But they could not enter since the house was locked from the inside. Before neighbors could find a way inside and reach her room, it was too late. She was pronounced dead on arrival at a local health center.

The family members claim she was highly active on social media, posting reels and videos that would attract a sizeable number of people. The police are digging through her phone to unravel the reasons behind the drastic move, hinting at considerable insight into the mental setup.
