Chhattisgarh: 7 Naxals Killed in Narayanpur, Encounter with Security Forces Ongoing

In the latest operation of Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district, seven Naxals were reported to have died in a gun battle with security forces in the South Abujhmad region. Among them was a key Naxal leader who had served on the Central Committee of the Red Rebels. Bodies of the Naxals have been retrieved, and the gun battle is continuing.

According to security forces, the exchange of gunfire has started around 3 AM and continues intermittently. The combined team of Special Task Force units from Narayanpur, Dantewada, Jagdalpur, and Kondagaon districts, along with the Central Reserve Police Force and District Reserve Guard, were conducting an anti-Naxal search operation in the region. As per the sources of CRPF, the operation is still ongoing, and further details are awaited.
