VIJAYAWADA: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) pulled out all the stops to celebrate the 75th birthday of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday, organizing blood donation drives, mass feasts (Annadanam), and even cutting 75 kg cakes across districts.

Naidu, currently on a brief family vacation abroad, was showered with tributes from party cadres, ministers, and even political rivals—highlighting his enduring influence in Andhra politics.

Leaders Extend Heartfelt Wishes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise Naidu’s leadership:

“Best wishes to my good friend and Andhra Pradesh CM Shri N Chandrababu Naidu Garu. It is commendable how he is tirelessly working for the development of AP, with a focus on futuristic sectors.”

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan (Jana Sena Party) lauded Naidu’s vision:

“His relentless enthusiasm in reviving AP’s economy is remarkable. Wishing him a long, healthy life.”

Even opposition leaders—YS Jagan Mohan Reddy (YSRCP) and YS Sharmila (APCC)—extended greetings, signaling rare bipartisan respect.

Son Lokesh’s Emotional Tribute

IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who’s accompanying Naidu overseas, shared an emotional post:

“Your leadership inspires millions. Proud to be your son.”

Naidu’s Vision for Andhra Pradesh

In a reflective X post, Naidu thanked supporters for their trust over his 47-year political career and reaffirmed his Swarna Andhra-2047 Vision, which aims to transform the state into a global innovation hub. Key goals include:

  • Zero poverty by 2047
  • Employment generation through tech & infrastructure
  • Water security via sustainable policies

He also highlighted the P4 (Public-Private-People-Partnership) initiative, designed to uplift underprivileged families into ‘Golden Families’ with help from NRIs and affluent donors.

Grassroots Celebrations & Social Service

At the TDP central office, leaders organized:

  • Blood donation camps
  • Mass food distribution (Annadanam)
  • Community welfare programs

Ministers like K. Atchannaidu, P. Narayana, and MPs including K. Rammohan Naidu participated, emphasizing Naidu’s social service legacy.

Why This Matters

Naidu’s 75th birthday wasn’t just a political event—it showcased his cross-party appeal and the TDP’s grassroots mobilization. With his fourth term as CM, Naidu remains central to AP’s development narrative.
