CM Yogi in Ghaziabad: The Further You Keep SP Away, the Better for Your Welfare

 In a move to energize the preparations of BJP for the upcoming by-elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Ghaziabad on Friday. Speaking to a group of "panna pramukhs" (page in-charges), chief minister Yogi said the contest is not merely to win but to have a victory of record.

The chief minister targeted the Samajwadi Party. According to him, the party has endangered the security of citizens and tainted people's faith. SP has become a threat to the safety of daughters and sisters.". The more distance you keep them, the better it would be for your welfare, he said.
Highlighting a date change for the by-elections some days back because of Kartik Purnima, a Hindu festival, CM Yogi told that the Election Commission shifted the election date on November 13 to post- November 15 after considering the general request of all parties to respect the importance of the festival. He pointed out that though shift in holiday dates was normally accommodated in Eid and Guru Purab, when the date advanced to honour Hindus' feeling this time, the public welcomed the decision whereas SP opposed it.

CM Yogi claimed SP was a party which eliminated the faith of people and posed a threat to the safety of women and business. It is a party which plays with faith of people and endangers security of daughters and sisters, he affirmed. CM Yogi's itinerary of visiting Ghaziabad, for example, had on its agenda holding a roadshow in the key electorate of Vijay Nagar. The roadshow has been shifted tentatively to the new date of November 20 instead of November 13, for which it was scheduled. November 8 roadshow was also scheduled for November 13, but the shift came due to the revised election date.
