Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking and tragic incident, a minor girl in Ramprastha Vivek Vihar Colony was brutally assaulted by four men who forcibly entered her home. The incident has led to widespread outrage, with local residents demanding the immediate arrest and capital punishment for the accused. Enraged by the heinous crime, protestors blocked Ramprastha Road, staging a sit-in demonstration on the street. The situation escalated as the angry mob set several shops and vehicles on fire.

Heavy Police Deployment on Ramprastha Road

DCP's Statement:
"The girl named Faizan in her statement. A report was filed, and he was arrested. Despite this, some miscreants spread rumors that it was not just rape, but gang rape. They engaged in vandalism and arson. FIRs have been registered against the rioters, and their identities are being confirmed through video footage."
Details of the Incident
ACP Sahibabad Rajneesh Kumar Upadhyay stated that the incident occurred on Wednesday evening in the Brij Vihar area under the jurisdiction of Link Road police station. The 14-year-old victim was alone at home when four men, reportedly from a neighboring community involved in the scrap business, forcibly entered her house, assaulted her, and raped her. Based on the family's complaint, a case has been registered under the relevant sections, and one suspect has been arrested.
Family Demands Capital Punishment
The victim's aunt revealed that the girl was alone at home on Wednesday evening when the four men entered the house. They allegedly drugged her and then committed the crime during a power outage, which may have facilitated the attack. The family is demanding justice, calling for the accused to be sentenced to death.
