Kerala and Mahe can expect substantial rainfall on November 27. Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema may witness very heavy rainfalls from Nov 28 to 30 days. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura will witness intense falls on Nov 28.

Dr S Balachandran, Director of the Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai, said that depression has now intensified into deep depression and is likely to grow into a full-fledged cyclonic storm. While the storm is approaching Tamil Nadu, people have been advised to be alert and to be prepared in case of further warnings.
