Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal has been admitted to the Max hospital in New Delhi.
This comes over a week after she was tested positive for the coronavirus. On April 30, she was found infected with the COVID-19 virus and advised to stay in home isolation.
After that, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal decided to go into isolation as a part of precaution against the deadly disease. Since then, his wife Sunita Kejriwal was in home isolation.
“The lockdown in Delhi has started today. This decision has been taken in view of your health and safety. Kindly cooperate with the government and stay home to keep safe from the infection,” Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had tweeted.
