Delhi Elections 2025: Kejriwal Calls BJP's Haryana, Maharashtra Wins a 'Conspiracy', Promises Major Reveal

Political temperatures are rising in the capital ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, months away. Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal has attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) again by accusing it of indulging in vote manipulation in the city. Kejriwal alleged that the BJP was caught red-handed trying to divide votes on a large scale. He further claimed that the party's unexpected victories in Maharashtra and Haryana were part of a larger conspiracy.

Kejriwal took to X to post, "The BJP was caught trying to cut votes in Delhi on a massive scale. They filed petitions to disenfranchise thousands of voters. I will soon make a major revelation about this. Did they win Haryana and Maharashtra elections the same way? BJP, we won't let your conspiracy succeed in Delhi."

The BJP has not issued a public response to Kejriwal's strong allegations. The BJP won some surprises in the recently concluded assembly polls in Maharashtra and Haryana. In Haryana, it managed to hang in despite all the positives in the atmosphere for the Congress, while in Maharashtra, the BJP defeated the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance considered a formidable contender.

In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, AAP had won with 63 seats, leaving the BJP with only seven. However, just a few months later, Kejriwal resigned as Chief Minister after allegations of a liquor scam. His accusations now are likely to add fuel to the growing political heat as the 2025 elections approach.
