Delhi HC Cracks Down on Fake AI Sadhguru Videos Circulating Online

In a strong stance against the misuse of public figures through artificial intelligence, the Delhi High Court on Friday issued an interim order directing various online platforms to remove fake AI-generated content misusing Sadhguru's name, image, and voice.
The order comes after Isha Foundation and Sadhguru filed a personality rights case, citing rampant use of doctored videos, audios, and images to falsely advertise products and services. These AI-doctored posts often promote fake investment schemes, depict fabricated events like Sadhguru’s arrest, and are designed to mislead unsuspecting followers.
Responding to the court's order, the Isha Foundation stated on X (formerly Twitter):
“These scams include fake AI-generated videos, morphed images depicting false events, such as Sadhguru's arrest, and misleading advertisements promoting financial investments. Isha Foundation has been proactively working to remove such fake content and prevent individuals from falling prey to these scams.”
