Delhi horror: Woman dragged by car was with friend who fled the spot after accident

The woman who was dragged and killed by a car in Delhi was accompanied by a female friend on her scooty at the time of the accident, according to latest report.

Police said that the woman who died after a car hit her scooty in outer Delhi also had a friend on her scooty and she suffered injuries in the accident.

According to police, the other girl returned home post accident, while the victim was stuck under the car and was dragged for nearly 14 kms from Sultanpuri to Kanjhawala. The CCTV footage of the accident showed the victim in pink clothes, while her friend was seen wearing red.

Police said the victims and her friend had gone to celebrate the new year and were seen coming out of a hotel. Anjali was seen seated in the back seat, while her friend was seen riding the scooty. The two girls exchanged seats after covering some distance.

Soon after, their scooty was hit by a car after which Anjali got stuck under the vehicle and was dragged for around 14 kms. Her friend was seen fleeing the spot after the accident.
