Delhi school bomb threat: Delhi Police Special Cell traced and identified the private school student, who had sent an e-mail of bomb threat to his own school. On acting on the email, police traced the IP address, and the student reached the residence of the student. Under the questioning of his parents, the child revealed it was a prank without an intent to cause any harm. The police counseled the student, let him go, and informed the parents to take extra care regarding this child.

No Link to Other Bomb Threat Emails

The Special Cell clarified that the student is not connected to the series of bomb threat emails received by various Delhi schools recently. His action was limited to his own school.

Bomb Threat Chaos in Delhi Schools

Two private schools DPS RK Puram and Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj received bomb threat e-mails this morning. These e-mails, sent by an ID "childrenofallah@outlook.com" claimed that explosive devices have been planted. Emergency teams, which include bomb squads, dog squads, and fire brigades, scanned the schools but found nothing.

The threats come as a recurring incident.

On December 13, 30 schools received similar threats, which were later proved to be hoaxes, and on December 9, 40 schools received such threats. The Delhi Police are investigating the source of these emails, but no one has been identified so far. The situation emphasizes the difficulties posed by anonymous digital threats in maintaining school safety.
