Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh — Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya once again expressed his admiration for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, emphasizing that there will be no compromise on nationalism and devotion to Lord Ram under Yogi’s leadership. Maurya hailed Yogi’s governance as a model of good administration, aligning it with the legacy of the late Kalyan Singh, a revered leader in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

During a commemorative event held at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow to mark the death anniversary of Kalyan Singh, Maurya addressed the gathering alongside Yogi Adityanath and other senior BJP leaders. In his speech, Maurya drew parallels between the governance of Yogi Adityanath and Kalyan Singh, highlighting their unwavering commitment to nationalism and Ram worship.

“When Babuji (Kalyan Singh) was in power, there was no compromise on nationalism and Ram worship, and today, under Yogi Ji’s government, this commitment remains steadfast,” Maurya remarked. He further asserted that the central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s principles, and the state government, following Kalyan Singh’s footsteps, are both working towards a common goal.

Maurya also took a veiled jab at political opponents, urging people to unite against those who are opposed to the nation’s interests. He pointed out that those who did not pay their respects to Kalyan Singh during his final journey should be permanently removed from power.

The event, steeped in reverence for Kalyan Singh, served as a platform for BJP leaders to reaffirm their commitment to the principles and values that have long been associated with the party’s ideologues. Yogi Adityanath’s administration, often praised for its strong stance on law and order, continues to receive accolades from within the party for upholding the legacy of former leaders like Kalyan Singh.
