Dewas Dairy Fire Tragedy: Couple and Two Children Burnt Alive as Flames Spread to Second Floor

A fire broke out in a house in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday night. A couple and their two children were burnt alive. The family lived on the second floor of the building where a dairy on the ground floor caught fire. It spread to the upper floors and trapped the family inside.
The deceased have been identified as Dinesh (35), his wife Gayatri (30), their daughter Ishika (10), and son Chirag (7). Dinesh was a carpenter by profession and lived with his family in the Nayapura area of Dewas. Neighbors noticed smoke and flames engulfing the house and immediately alerted the police and fire department.
Rescue and Investigation
Despite hours of firefighting, the family could not be saved. The fire department managed to douse the flames, but all four were found deceased inside the house. The police have sent the bodies for postmortem and initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. SP Puneet Gehlod also visited the site late at night to oversee the situation.
