An Asprin tablet can save the life of a COVID-19 patient, Dr. KK Aggarwal said as he started advising coronavirus patients what to do if they face a heart-attack situation.
His advice to COVID-19 patients comes hours after the death of the Aaj Tak news anchor Rohit Sardana, who died of a heart attack while receiving treatment against COVID-19 infection.
“Take a 300 mg water-soluble Asprin tablet and chew it to swallow immediately if you face chest burn, chest pain, acidity, or suffocation after being infected by the COVID-19. It reduces the chance of death by 22 percent,” Dr. KK Aggarwal said.
Dr KK Aggarwal who is the president of the Heart Care Foundation of India also advised the caretakers of the COVID-19 to administer the Asprine tablet with a teaspoon of water in case a patient is unable to chew the medicine.
“If a COVID-19 patient is unable to chew and swallow, then administer the Asprine tablet with a teaspoon of water,” he said, advising the caretakers of the COVID-19 patients on how to administer the medicine.
Advising COVID-19 patients on how to overcome heart attack situation, he included 40 mg Statine, 80 mg Atorvastatin, 75 mg Clopidogrel, and .5 mg Cholchisin tablet in the list of necessary medicines.
“COVID-19 patients can also take a 40 mg Statine, an 80mg Atorvastatin tablet to overcome heart attack situation,” he said.
He also advised COVID-19 patients to take eight tablets of 75mg Clopidogrel and two tablets of .5mg Chochisine if they chest pain, chest burn, suffocation, and acidity.
