Dr K K Aggarwal who was also a Padma Shri recipient died of coronavirus. The 62-year-old Dr Aggarwal was the former president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA).

The experienced cardiologist breathed his last at AIIMS, Delhi. Dr K K Aggarwal was on ventilator support, undergoing treatment for the past few days.

His family in a statement spoke of his lengthy battle with COVID-19. And how he dedicated his life to the welfare of the public and raising health awareness.

During the pandemic, Dr K K Aggarwal made dedicated efforts to educate the masses through videos and educational programs and saved countless lives.

Dr Aggarwal remains one of numerous frontline workers who lost their live to the pandemic. India is currently in the grip of a fatal coronavirus wave.

The Central and state governments are working to bridge the gap when it comes to needy people and basic requirements.
