Eastern Army Commander LG Manoj Pande Tuesday stressed that China has increased activities in the areas across the LAC.
Though it remains under tight surveillance of the Indian Army. Also, both sides are attempting to develop infrastructure closer to the Line of Actual Control which leads to certain issues at times.
As per the PLA strategy model, villages have come up near the border. Additionally, there has been a marginal increase in the border defence troops.
At the same time, Lt General Pande assured that adequate forces are available in each sector to deal with any situation.
Moreover, the Eastern army commander said that the Army is aiming to maximise the potential of incorporating technology to the maximum extent possible.
In October, the 13th round of the India-China Corps Commander-level meeting was held at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point.
