Maharashtra is all set for a new political chapter as Eknath Shinde is going to take the oath as the Deputy Chief Minister on December 5th along with Devendra Fadnavis, who is going to become the Chief Minister. The much-awaited announcement had created suspense over the CM face since the conclusion of the state assembly elections. It was just rumors that Shinde was not ready to give up on his ambitions for the CM post, which further delayed revealing the final decision.

However, crystal clear is the picture now. Devendra Fadnavis will be the Chief Minister, and Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar will become the Deputy CMs. After all, this is only the result of the powerful performance of Mahayuti in the assembly elections to form the government.

It is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, while a swearing-in ceremony in Mumbai would mark a significant moment in the state's political history.
