Vehicle in Farooq Abdullah’s Convoy Crashes in Dausa, Two Delhi Police Personnel Injured

It is a road mishap on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near Dausa where the vehicle, belonging to former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah's convoy, met an accident. As a result of it, two personnel of the Delhi Police are left injured. The incident happened when Abdullah was en route from Delhi to Ajmer for a pilgrimage. The place was Bhandarej Interchange.
Eyewitnesses said a cow emerged suddenly in front of the escort vehicle of the convoy. The collision severely damaged the front of the Delhi Police car. On impact, the driver and front passenger airbags deployed, averting serious injuries to those inside. However, two police personnel, one of them a head constable, suffered minor injuries.
Immediate Medical Attention
Both the officers were immediately shifted to the Dausa district hospital for treatment, and were later discharged as the injuries were minor. The escorting police vehicle was also affected where another policeman had minor bruises that did not necessitate a longer period of treatment.
