Fatal Accident in Rajasthan: Wrong-Side Driving Leads to Crash, Claims Five Lives
Five youths lost their lives in a severe accident in Udaipur when their wrong-side-driving car collided head-on with a dumper. The victims included residents of Rajsamand and Udaipur. Police are investigating the incident, with all bodies sent to a mortuary and the dumper driver under scrutiny.
Fatal Accident in Rajasthan: A tragic road accident near Udaipur, Rajasthan, claimed the lives of five people late Thursday night. As per the police, this car was moving the wrong way from Amberi towards Debari when it collided head-on with a dumper. Among the dead is the son of a police head constable. The accident happened around midnight in the Sukher police station area near Amberi. Police have taken the dumper and started further investigations.
Delwara, Rajsamand, in Himmat Khatik (32); Bedla, Udaipur, in Pankaj Nagarchi (24) and Gopal Nagarchi (27); Gaurav Jeenagar (23); and one other. The dumper driver, who was trying to avoid the collision, ran over the car in such force that it completely crushed the front side of the car. On the spot, all five passengers died due to injuries.
Police were alerted to the situation and rushed to the scene, extracting the bodies from the crushed car. It is reported that no car passengers survived the intensity of the crash. The bodies were ferried to MB Hospital mortuary. Still, the authorities are yet to know where the victims were going, and their families have been informed of the tragedy.
