Father-Son Clash Turns Violent in West Bengal: BJP Supporter Attacked by TMC Aligned Son

In a shocking incident in the Ghatalpatti area of Bagda police station in West Bengal, a father and son, both affiliated with opposing political parties, have become embroiled in a violent confrontation. The incident occurred late Thursday night and has sent shockwaves through the local community.

The victim, Kali Satra, a supporter of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was brutally attacked by his son, Madhav Satra, who is affiliated with the Trinamool Congress (TMC). The attack reportedly involved Madhav using a sharp weapon against his father, leading to severe injuries.

The conflict between Kali and Madhav had been ongoing due to their political differences, with tensions flaring up repeatedly. On Friday, this discord culminated in violence when Madhav, in a fit of rage, assaulted his father with a blade.

Local residents rushed Kali Satra to Bagda Gramin Hospital in a critical condition. After receiving initial treatment, he was referred to the Bongaon District Hospital. Kali is currently admitted to Bongaon Sub-Divisional Hospital, where he is receiving treatment for his serious injuries.

Kali Satra, who works as a laborer in agriculture, lives with his wife, son Madhav, and two daughters. Madhav, like his father, also works in agriculture. The family resides together in the same house, which has now become the center of this tragic incident.

The local community has been left in shock over the violent clash. Madhav Satra is currently on the run, and authorities are actively searching for him. The incident has highlighted the increasing tension and potential risks associated with political affiliations and familial relationships in the region.
