In the ongoing protests by candidates of the Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB NTPC) exam, an FIR has been filed against YouTuber Khan Sir and others in Patna.
It has been alleged that Khan Sir played a major role in inciting violence during a protest in Patna on Monday.
Several thousands of railways job aspirants after assembling at the Rajendra Nagar Railway terminal, disrupted train operations; they also sabotaged the railway property to register their protest.
The FIR against Khan Sir was registered at Patrakaar Nagar police station under several sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The FIR also mentions few other coaching centres and more than 400 unidentified persons. They all have been accused of orchestrating violence and damaging government property at Rajendra Nagar railway terminal and Bhikna Pahadi on Tuesday evening.
The First Information Report has been registered on the basis of statements given by agitating students. Some of them were detained on Monday and Tuesday in Patna.
As per them (the agitating students), they were motivated to indulge in violence after a video of Khan Sir. It allegedly instigated the students to agitate on the streets if the RRB NTPC exams were not cancelled.
The FIR also states these statements and material that eventually became the basis for this vandalism.
Khan Sir is a well-known coaching teacher in Patna. He runs Khan GS Research Centre and is known for his unique pedagogic style.
After the allegations surfaced against him, Khan Sir reportedly released a video appealing to students to keep their movement peaceful.
